A ferry in the Philippines caught fire on Wednesday, killing at least five people and leaving almost 100 others missing.
The Philippine Coast Guard released video showing the MV June Aster engulfed in flames.
The vessel was carrying 117 passengers and 17 crew members and was traveling near the tourist town of Coron in Palawan province.
The five deceased were taken to an emergency evacuation and rescue center in Coron.
A PCG spokesperson said a search party was launched for those unaccounted for, and 43 people have been rescued so far.
One survivor told officials they heard an explosion from a compartment on the boat that holds vehicles and motorbikes.
The spokesperson added that first responders are still fighting the fire and have yet to put out the flames.
The cause of the blaze is still under investigation.
The owner of the MV June Aster issued a statement saying the company was profoundly sad and deeply concerned about the massive fire raging on the boat.
