Vivo is gearing up for a busy period across multiple markets.
The company is set to launch the X500 series in China on September 21, while also preparing to bring the Vivo V80 series and X Fold 6 to global audiences.
The global variant of the Vivo X Fold 6 has now surfaced on Geekbench, suggesting that final testing is underway ahead of its international debut.
Geekbench Listing Details
The listing shows the device, model number V2559, scoring 1,710 points in single-core and 5,977 points in multi-core tests.
It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset (MT6993) and comes with 12GB of RAM.
Notably, the listing indicates Android 17, which would make it one of the first Vivo phones to ship with the latest OS.
The Chinese model, in contrast, launched with Android 16-based OriginOS 6 Fold.
Certification listings from SDPPI in Indonesia, SIRIM in Malaysia, and NBTC in Thailand had previously confirmed the global model number, hinting at a wider release.
Key Specifications
The Vivo X Fold 6 features an 8.02-inch LTPO AMOLED inner display with 2504 × 2312 resolution and a 6.51-inch LTPO AMOLED cover display with 2528 × 1120 resolution.
Both screens support a 120Hz refresh rate and can reach up to 5,000 nits of peak brightness.
Under the hood, it runs on the Dimensity 9500 Super Edition, paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and 1TB UFS 4.1 storage.
The camera setup includes a 200-megapixel primary sensor, a 50-megapixel ZEISS APO periscope telephoto, and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide on the rear.
For selfies, there are 20-megapixel cameras on both the inner and outer displays.
Other highlights include a 7,000mAh battery, 80W wired charging, 40W wireless charging, and IP58/IP59 dust and water resistance.
Launch Timing
Vivo may not launch the X Fold 6 globally this month, as the X500 series is expected to take center stage with its September 21 China debut.
The foldable could instead be lined up for an October launch, though Vivo has yet to announce an official global release date.
