iQOO has confirmed that it will hold a launch event this month to unveil the iQOO 16 and iQOO Pad 6 Ultra.
The company has now shared more details about the iQOO 16's display technology, which is expected to be the industry's best.

iQOO will hold an event in collaboration with Samsung Display to reveal more details about the iQOO 16's screen.
The two companies will work together on screen clarity, colour reproduction, touch response, high refresh rates, and eye protection.
Scheduled for September 14, the event will make iQOO the first smartphone brand to hold a display technology communication event at Samsung Display's headquarters in South Korea.
An image released by iQOO shows that the iQOO 16 will have a flat display with ultra-thin bezels on all four sides.
Rumored Specifications
According to reports, the iQOO 16 is expected to feature Samsung's M16 LEAD AMOLED panel.
The screen is tipped to measure 6.85 inches and offer a 2K resolution with a 165Hz refresh rate.
It will feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chipset alongside iQOO's Q4 chip for enhanced ray tracing.
The iQOO 16 may feature a 32-megapixel front camera and a redesigned camera module on the back.
The rear setup is rumored to include a 50-megapixel primary sensor with a 1/1.3-inch sensor and f/1.68 aperture, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera.
The phone is tipped to pack an 8,400mAh battery with 100W wired and 40W wireless charging.
Other expected specifications include an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor, USB 3.2, dual speakers, and IP68/IP69 ratings.
Storage options could include 12GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB, 16GB+512GB, and 16GB+1TB, with OriginOS 7 based on Android 17 expected to handle the software side.
It is expected to arrive in shades like Track, Legend, and Light Chaser.
