Honor has officially confirmed that the Magic 9 series will launch in China on September 28.

Pre-reservations are now open, and the company has shared the design and key camera details.

The upcoming lineup will feature a dual 200-megapixel ARRI imaging system. Honor says the cameras are engineered for clear results in both daylight and low-light conditions.

The primary camera has an f/1.57 aperture and a 1/1.28-inch sensor.

The secondary 200-megapixel ARRI super-night telephoto camera offers an f/2.6 aperture and a larger 1/1.4-inch sensor.

Honor is also introducing a Photography Master Kit with two telephoto accessories. The headline accessory is a 500mm telephoto extender designed to bring distant subjects closer.

A second accessory is a 200mm thumb-sized telephoto extender weighing just 88g and measuring 81mm in length.

Both accessories complement the phone's built-in cameras rather than extending native focal lengths.

The Magic 9 series is expected to include the Magic 9 and Magic 9 Pro Max, both powered by the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chipset.
