Timex has introduced two new versions of its Expedition Acadia watch in the United States, continuing its collaboration with the Peanuts franchise.
The new models combine the rugged design of Timex's outdoor-focused Expedition line with artwork inspired by the Beagle Scouts, featuring Snoopy and Woodstock in outdoor gear.
Design and Features
Both watches share a 40mm matte black resin case, which keeps the weight at a light 44 grams.
The case height is 11mm, with a lug-to-lug distance of 49.5mm, placing them in the standard size range for field watches.
The display uses an acrylic crystal, a common choice at this price point due to its impact resistance and ease of polishing out scratches.
Two colorways are available: the first (TW2Y84600) has a green dial with a matching green silicone strap, while the second (TW2Y84700) features a cream dial with a blue silicone strap.
Both straps use quick-release spring bars, allowing for easy strap changes without tools.
The dials include full Arabic numerals, a date window at 3 o'clock, and luminescent hands and markers for low-light visibility.
Internals and Durability
Power comes from a quartz analog movement running on an SR626SW battery.
The case includes a crown guard and offers a water resistance rating of 50 meters, suitable for light swimming but not snorkeling or diving.
Pricing and Availability
The Peanuts x Timex Expedition Acadia watches are priced at $119 and are available now on the Timex US website.
