OnePlus is reportedly preparing a new Ace-series smartphone, possibly named the OnePlus Ace 7, according to a leak from tipster Digital Chat Station.

The device is said to feature a 6.78-inch flat OLED display with 1.5K resolution and an ultra-high 185Hz refresh rate.

Under the hood, the phone is expected to be powered by last year's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.

Expected specifications

The leak indicates the OnePlus Ace 7 could come with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.

It is also said to include an active cooling fan, hinting at a gaming-focused design.

For photography, the device is rumored to sport a 16-megapixel front camera and a dual rear setup with a 200-megapixel main sensor and a 50-megapixel secondary lens.

No details about battery capacity or charging speed have been revealed yet.

The OnePlus Ace 7 is expected to run Android 17 with ColorOS 17 on top, though this is not explicitly mentioned in the leak.

The tipster did not confirm the device's name, but it is speculated to be the Ace 7, following the Ace 6 series launched last year.

OnePlus is also anticipated to unveil the OnePlus 16 with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro in October, and the Ace 7 might launch alongside it.
