An executive producer for the 2025 horror hit 'Obsession' claims she was denied her fair share of profits after the film grossed over $500 million worldwide.
Leonora Ann Darby filed a lawsuit on Monday against Tea Shop Productions and its co-founders, James Harris and Mark Lane, alleging breach of contract.

Darby says the producers failed to acknowledge her key role in making the movie, which was produced on a reported budget of $750,000.
She claims her contributions were critical to the film's success, including helping director Curry Barker regain control of the editing process.

Darby also says she secured approval for reshoots that addressed content issues, ensuring the film was completed in time for the Toronto International Film Festival.
At the festival, Focus Features purchased the film for $16.2 million, and it later became a box office phenomenon.

After the success, Darby alleges Harris and Lane repeatedly violated their 2024 agreement, excluding her from profit shares and public recognition.
She is seeking compensatory damages for breach of contract, unpaid project bonuses, and one-third of net profits, among other damages.

TMZ reached out to Tea Shop Productions for comment but has not received a response.
