The official cause of death for Emilie Kiser's 3-year-old son, Trigg, has been revealed as anoxic brain injury due to drowning.
The Maricopa County medical examiner's report, obtained by PEOPLE, lists the cause of death and rules the manner as an accident.

Trigg died on May 18, 2025, six days after being hospitalized.
His father, Brady Kiser, found him in their backyard pool in Arizona while Emilie was out with friends.
Brady was watching Trigg and their 17-month-old son, Teddy, at the time.

The Chandler Police Department said Trigg was in the water for about seven minutes before being pulled out.
Police recommended a Class 4 felony charge of child abuse against Brady, but the Maricopa County Attorney's Office declined to press charges.

Emilie has been open about her grief and the guilt she felt over Trigg's loss.
After a break from social media, she has returned to sharing lifestyle content.
Emilie is currently expecting her third child with Brady, announcing the pregnancy in July.
