Acer has named Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar as its brand ambassador in India, aligning with the company's 50th global anniversary and 27 years in the Indian market.
The announcement was made at the House of Acer event held at JW Marriott Mumbai, Juhu.

Expanding beyond PCs
The partnership comes as Acer broadens its portfolio beyond personal computers to include Acerpure home appliances such as televisions, air conditioners, washing machines, and other home solutions.
The company aims to position this ecosystem around making everyday technology smarter, easier, and healthier.

Akshay Kumar, known for his busy lifestyle involving films, travel, fitness, and family, said technology should simplify daily tasks rather than complicate life.
