Qualcomm has confirmed that its next flagship chip announcement will introduce two 8 Elite processors.

The company teased the launch on X with the taglines “Dual 8 Elites” and “When Two Changes the Game,” promising “twice the options” for smartphone makers.

The teaser video shows two unnamed chips alongside gameplay from Neverness to Everness (NTE).

Qualcomm says both chips will bring better connectivity, stronger camera features, and a more powerful GPU for immersive gaming.

Snapdragon Summit 2026 Details

The event is scheduled for September 22–24, 2026, in Maui, Hawaii.

Qualcomm has not yet revealed the official names, but industry rumors suggest the pair will be the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 and a higher-tier Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro.

The Pro version is expected to target “Ultra” level phones, such as Samsung’s Galaxy S27 Ultra and top flagships from iQOO, OnePlus, and Xiaomi.

Early speculation hints at a TSMC 2nm process and an Adreno 850 GPU for the Pro chip.

This dual-chip strategy marks a shift for Qualcomm, which typically launches one flagship SoC per year.

By offering two options, the company aims to create clearer performance tiers and give phone makers more flexibility across price points.
