Xiaomi has published the list of devices eligible for the new Soft Light Glass UI effect, set to arrive with the HyperOS 4 update.
The list is initially for the Chinese market, but since eligibility is based on chipset capabilities, global models with similar specs should also receive the feature.

The Soft Light Glass effect, inspired by Apple's Liquid Glass UI, requires complex graphics rendering and interactive lighting, so only select devices will support it.
Eligible Devices
During the beta phase, the effect will be available on devices with Snapdragon 8 Elite or higher, Dimensity 9500 or higher, and Xring O1 or higher.

Xiaomi plans to expand support to older models like the Redmi K70, Xiaomi 13, and Xiaomi MIX Flip in later phases.
The complete list includes the Xiaomi MIX series (Fold 4, Fold 3, Fold 2, Flip), flagship phones (17, 17T, 15, 14, 13 series), and Civi 5 Pro.
Redmi K series (K100 Pro, K90, K80, K70 except K70E), Redmi Turbo series (5 Max, 5, 4 Pro), and Xiaomi Pad series (8 Pro, 8, 7 Ultra, 7S Pro) are also included.

The Redmi K Pad series (K Pad 2, K Pad) rounds out the list.
The Soft Light Glass effect is already rolling out to devices in the first batch of the HyperOS 4 beta, currently limited to China.
