Timex has introduced the Q Timex Continental Chronograph in the US, adding three new models to its popular Q Timex collection.
The new watches feature a compact 36mm stainless steel case, a departure from the larger 40mm-plus chronographs common today.

Measuring 43mm lug-to-lug and 11.5mm thick, the proportions closely match 1970s watch designs.
Each watch has a fixed tachymeter bezel, allowing users to calculate average speed using the stopwatch function.
Three models at launch
The TW2Y93200, priced at $259, features a black dial with silver sub-dials and a red stopwatch hand.
Also at $259, the TW2Y92400 offers an ice blue dial with black sub-dials.

Both come on a silver-tone stainless steel bracelet.
For $279, the two-tone silver and gold version (TW2Y92300) features a champagne dial with brown sub-dials.
All models share a textured dial, faceted metallic hour markers, and luminous hands and markers for low-light readability.
The flat mineral crystal is standard at this price point, though it scratches more easily than sapphire.

Powered by a quartz movement, these watches require minimal maintenance.
The integrated bracelet has an 11mm lug width and a deployant clasp, fitting wrists from 142mm to 205mm.
Water resistance is 50 meters, suitable for light swimming but not snorkeling or diving.
Timex advises against pressing the chronograph buttons while submerged.
