Godox has introduced the P100 portable photo printer in China, priced at 699 yuan (about $104). The device is designed for printing photos directly from a smartphone.

The standard package includes the printer and a 10-sheet cartridge of dye-sublimation paper. Replacement cartridges with 20 sheets are sold separately.

Compact and portable design

Weighing around 320 grams and measuring 142.5 x 86.8 x 26.8 mm, the P100 is compact enough to carry like a thick power bank.

Its rounded edges and simple design make it easy to hold in one hand or slip into a bag.

The printer features a USB-C port with 5V/2A input, so it can be charged with most standard phone chargers.

Printing technology and cartridge system

Inside, the P100 uses a 1256 print heating head and prints at 300 dpi with support for up to 16.7 million colors.

The dye-sublimation process provides better color accuracy than Zink, but it requires specific paper and ink ribbon.

Godox simplifies this with an all-in-one cartridge that houses both photo paper and ribbon. When empty, you can swap the entire cartridge without tools.

The physical paper size is 97 x 53 mm, with an actual printed image area of 86 x 53 mm.

Auto-lamination and connectivity

The printer includes an automatic lamination process that applies a clear protective film over each photo. This helps shield images from water, dust, fingerprints, and everyday wear.

You can connect via Bluetooth, and NFC-enabled phones can tap the printer for quicker pairing. Printing is handled through the Godox Cam app, available on iOS and Android.
