Geno Auriemma is looking back at his legendary career with the UConn Huskies in a new documentary, and the experience brought up a mix of emotions.

The 12-time national champion coach told Babcock that revisiting the past was both rewarding and challenging.

"Some of it brought back some great memories. Some of it was a little bit painful to look at," Auriemma said.

He admitted to shaking his head at some of his past actions, saying, "You shake your head and you're like, 'What are you thinking,' you know?"

Auriemma specifically mentioned regretting "some of the dumbass things that I said."

Despite the discomfort, the overall experience was positive for the coach.

"All in all, I think what it brought back for me was the incredible journey and how many people it took to make all this work," he explained.

The documentary, titled "The Dynasty: UCONN Huskies," premieres August 21 on Apple TV.

The show promises to go beyond the championships and dynasties, offering a deeper look at the program's success.
