A new leak from tipster Digital Chat Station suggests the iQOO 16 will feature a triple 50-megapixel rear camera setup, a notable upgrade for the performance-focused series.
The primary sensor is said to be 1/1.3-inch with an f/1.68 aperture, making it the largest and brightest of the three.

The ultra-wide camera reportedly uses a 50MP sensor with an f/2.0 aperture, while the periscope telephoto has a 1/1.95-inch 50MP sensor with f/2.65 aperture.
DCS also notes the lens arrangement appears to follow an inverted design, with exact telephoto and macro capabilities still undecided.

Previous leaks from the same source indicated the iQOO 16 will sport a 6.85-inch flat Samsung display with 2K resolution and 165Hz refresh rate.

The phone is also expected to pack an 8,500mAh battery with 100W wired charging and wireless charging.
Other rumored specs include a dedicated display chip, 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, dual speakers, and IP68/IP69 ratings.

The iQOO 16 is expected to launch in China around late September or early October.
