Da'Vine Joy Randolph is taking legal action against her landlord, claiming her luxury rental turned into a nightmare.
The Oscar-winning actress filed a lawsuit against leasing company 421 NRD LLC over a $5+ million home in Los Angeles.

According to the suit, Randolph leased a 5-bedroom, 6-bathroom, 4,452-square-foot property for $17,000 per month in September 2024.

She says the company promised the home was in good condition, but she soon encountered water issues, pests, defective locks, and plumbing problems.
Randolph also reported inconsistent water pressure and safety concerns, but the landlord allegedly made insufficient fixes.

The landlord eventually told her she could move out if she was unhappy, according to the lawsuit.

Randolph is suing for breach of lease and other claims, seeking unspecified damages and reimbursement for out-of-pocket expenses like hotels and pest control.
