Honor is reportedly working on several new smartphones, according to reliable tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS) on Weibo.

One device may feature a native rear display, measuring around 1.7 inches, aimed at a slim, camera-focused design.

The upcoming Honor 700 series could be the first to adopt this rear screen, though the flagship lineup is not expected to include it.

Based on previous release patterns, the 700 series might launch in China by November or December this year.

Massive 12,000mAh battery in trial production

DCS also mentioned that Honor has started trial production of a new battery with a rated capacity of 11,790mAh and a typical capacity of around 12,000mAh.

This ultra-large battery could power the upcoming Honor Power 3, which may debut by early 2027 and feature the 3nm Dimensity 8600 chip.

In addition, Honor is exploring a wide-screen foldable, though the project has not entered formal development yet.

If approved, it would feature a larger display than existing wide foldables, which currently range from 6.3 to 6.4 inches.

Previous reports suggest the foldable could pack a 20-megapixel main camera, a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chip, and a 7,000mAh battery.

Honor is also accelerating the launch of its Win 2 series of gaming-focused phones, which might debut as early as October in China.
