Kaia Gerber acknowledges that her famous family has opened doors, but she still holds other nepo babies to a high standard.

In a recent Vogue interview, the daughter of Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber admitted she often scrutinizes peers who benefit from family connections.

"I've only ever been a nepo baby, and I've only ever benefited in my career from it," she said.

"But I also find myself doing it to other nepo babies, thinking, like, 'Okay, show me why you deserve this job.'"

Gerber shared that this mindset surfaced while working on Ryan Murphy's new series "The Shards," based on Bret Easton Ellis' novel.

Her co-star Homer Gere, son of Richard Gere, is just starting his acting career, with his first major role in the final season of "Euphoria."

She noted that the nepo baby label weighs heavily on him, so she advised him to expect extra scrutiny because of his father's fame.

At the same time, she encouraged him to channel that pressure into delivering a powerful performance.

Gerber also opened up about her lifelong struggle with disordered eating, urging people to speak kindly to those affected.

"Negativity has never saved someone's life," she said, emphasizing the importance of positive support.
