Lenovo has introduced a new compact and affordable tablet under its Lecoo brand in China. The device is called the Lecoo P900A.
The tablet features an 8-inch IPS HD display, though the exact resolution has not been specified. It measures 200.5 x 122 x 8.45mm and weighs 324g.
A textured rear panel is included to improve grip. Under the hood, an unspecified octa-core MediaTek processor powers the device.
The chipset is paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. For additional space, the tablet supports microSD expansion up to 1TB.
A 5,000mAh battery keeps the device running. For photography and video calls, it has a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera.
The Lecoo P900A supports 4G LTE via a SIM card slot, with VoLTE for voice calls. It can accept 5G SIM cards but is limited to 4G speeds.
On the software side, the tablet runs Lenovo's ZUXOS. The company says this operating system is streamlined and free of system-level advertisements.
It also includes Lenovo's Super Interconnect 3.0, which allows file sharing, notification syncing, and app casting with compatible Lenovo PCs and Motorola smartphones.
Basic file transfers with iOS devices are supported as well.

The Lecoo P900A is currently available on JD. com for 899 yuan, approximately $133.
It comes in a single Platinum Gold color option.
