Redmi has introduced the global versions of the Redmi 17 5G and Redmi 17 4G, both featuring a 6.9-inch HD+ LCD with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and a 7,500mAh battery.
The 5G model is powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 chipset, while the 4G variant uses the Helio G91-Ultra.

Key specifications and features
The devices share a 50MP AI dual rear camera and an 8MP front camera. They support 45W fast charging and 22.5W wired reverse charging.

Other common features include dual stereo speakers with up to 300% volume boost, an IP64-rated chassis, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Redmi 17 5G is available in Malaysia with prices starting at MYR 769 (~$190) for the 4GB+128GB model.
Globally, it starts at $249, with additional 6GB+128GB and 6GB+256GB variants.

The Redmi 17 4G is listed globally in four configurations: 4GB+128GB, 4GB+256GB, 6GB+128GB, and 6GB+256GB.
It comes in White, Red, and Green.
