Live TV can be unpredictable, but one news anchor managed to keep his composure in a moment that almost went off the rails.
KJ Jacobs, a meteorologist for WCPO 9 News in the Cincinnati area, was delivering a routine weather report Thursday night when his attention was drawn to a car stopped between the on-ramp and the highway, its hazard lights blinking.
Mid-sentence, Jacobs watched another car change lanes, dart across the road, and slam into the back of the stopped vehicle.
His immediate reaction was to start saying "Oh, sh..." but he quickly slapped a hand over his mouth, stopping himself before the swear word came out.
Later, Jacobs shared the clip on social media, writing, "A natural reaction on LIVE TV, but I’m so glad I hit the brakes just in time!

There is no word yet on the condition of the motorists involved in the crash, but at least Jacobs avoided a broadcasting blunder of his own.
