Recent leaks suggest Xiaomi's upcoming Redmi K100 Pro and K100 Pro Max will share nearly identical hardware, with only a few key differences separating them.
Both models are expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, up to 16GB RAM, and 1TB UFS 4.1 storage, running HyperOS 3 based on Android 16.

Battery and Display Differences
The most notable difference appears to be battery capacity.
The K100 Pro is tipped to pack an 8,560mAh silicon-carbon battery, while the Pro Max could increase that to 9,070mAh.

Charging speeds remain the same, with both supporting 100W wired, 50W wireless, and reverse charging.
Display specs are also nearly identical, featuring a 6.9-inch AMOLED panel with 185Hz refresh rate and Dolby Vision.
The Pro Max, however, may offer a higher peak brightness of 4,500 nits.

Cameras and Other Specs
Camera hardware is expected to be the same on both devices: a 200MP main sensor, 50MP periscope telephoto, 50MP ultrawide, and 32MP selfie camera.
Other shared features include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, USB-C 3.2, NFC, an IR blaster, stereo speakers with Bose tuning, and IP68/IP69 protection.

If these leaks are accurate, the K100 Pro Max will not offer a significantly different flagship experience, but rather a larger battery and brighter display.
