Minnie Driver is speaking out after a serious car accident in France that left her in a neck brace.
The actress says she is "grateful to be alive" following the crash.

Driver was traveling through the French countryside with her friend Ben Homewood when another vehicle ran through an intersection and T-boned their car.
She described the impact as "really bad," saying they barely managed to escape. "Well, we didn't walk out of it.
We crawled out of it," she explained.

In a social media post, Driver shared a photo showing the extent of the damage. Their car was totaled, but she credits the vehicle with saving their lives.
The actress revealed they were in an electric Kia, and the 360-degree airbags deployed to protect them. She said it's "astonishing" they weren't crushed.

While praising the car's safety features, Driver was quick to clarify that her video is "categorically not a car ad."
She laughed at the thought, adding, "I want to celebrate that car. You know, I'm Minnie Driver.

Despite the ordeal, Driver remains in shock, admitting, "I'm really in shock and sort of cry all the time, but I'm going to heal."
