Xiaomi has officially launched the 17T and 17T Pro, the latest additions to its upper-mid-range T series for the global market.
The new devices emphasize larger batteries, high-refresh-rate screens, and a consistent Leica camera system across both models.

Display and Design
The 17T Pro features a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and ultra-slim 1.29mm bezels.
The standard 17T has a 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate.
Both panels offer a peak brightness of 3,500 nits, support Dolby Vision, and are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.
The Pro model includes a hardware-level 1-nit minimum brightness feature for low-light viewing.
Performance and Software
Both phones are powered by MediaTek processors: the 17T Pro uses the 3nm Dimensity 9500 chip, while the 17T runs on the 4nm Dimensity 8500-Ultra.
They come with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage.
Xiaomi’s 3D IceLoop vapor chamber cooling system manages heat.

The devices run HyperOS 3 with HyperAI features, including AI writing, speech recognition, dynamic wallpapers, Circle to Search, and Gemini AI integration.
Camera System
Xiaomi continues its partnership with Leica for the cameras.
Both the 17T and 17T Pro feature a 50MP 5x periscope telephoto camera and a 50MP main camera, though with different sensors: the Pro uses a 1/1.31-inch Light Fusion 950 sensor, while the standard model uses a 1/1.55-inch Light Fusion 800 sensor.
Both phones include a 12MP ultrawide camera and a 32MP front-facing camera.
A new Leica Live Moment feature records a short video clip alongside a still photo, similar to Apple’s Live Photos.
Battery and Charging
The 17T Pro packs a 7,000mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. The standard 17T has a 6,500mAh cell with 67W wired charging.

Both support 22.5W reverse wired charging.
Other Features
Both phones carry an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance and feature dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos.
Connectivity includes Bluetooth 6.0 and NFC, with the Pro model supporting Wi-Fi 7 and the standard 17T topping out at Wi-Fi 6E.
An in-display fingerprint sensor handles biometrics.
Pricing and Availability
The Xiaomi 17T starts at €749 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant, and €799 for 512GB.
It is available in Violet, Opal White, Blue, and Black.
The 17T Pro starts at €899 for 256GB, €999 for 512GB, and €1,099 for 1TB. It comes in Deep Blue, Deep Violet, and Black.

Both models are now on sale in the UK and select European markets. The standard Xiaomi 17T is slated for an Indian release on June 4th.
