This marks the sixth model in the Wish series, continuing the lineup's focus on simple, reliable devices at an accessible price.

Key specifications and features

The AQUOS Wish6 features a 6.6-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 1,000 nits.

The device measures 8.33mm in thickness and weighs 189 grams.

Sharp claims the Wish6 offers approximately 20% greater bending strength than its predecessor.

Under the hood, it packs a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, 4GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage.

This core setup matches the AQUOS Wish5, positioning the new model as a refresh rather than a major redesign.

A 5,000mAh battery powers the phone, supported by smart charging to reduce battery wear over time.

For photography, the rear camera is a 50.1-megapixel main sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, while the front camera offers 8 megapixels at f/2.0.

The device runs Android 16 out of the box, with Sharp promising two major OS upgrades and four years of security updates.

Additional features include fingerprint and face unlock, FeliCa for mobile payments, dual SIM support (nanoSIM and eSIM), microSD expansion up to 2TB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The Wish6 also introduces a built-in “crime alarm” that triggers a loud alert when the phone is shaken, automatically contacting preset emergency contacts with the user's location.

AI call analysis flags calls matching known scam patterns, and the Wish6 is the first in the series to allow blocking international calls outright.
