Casio has introduced the Edifice EFS-S660 series, a pair of solar-powered chronographs set to launch in Japan later this month.

The lineup includes the stainless steel EFS-S660D-1A and the resin-strapped EFS-S660PB-1A, both designed for motorsport utility with a compact profile.

Design and Build

Both models share identical case dimensions of 45.3 x 38.3 x 11.6 mm, making them wearable for various wrist sizes.

The EFS-S660D-1A features a silver stainless steel case and metal bracelet with a blue chronograph seconds hand, weighing 129 grams.

The EFS-S660PB-1A uses a black resin strap and a dark gray ion-plated case with a black bezel, highlighted by a red center seconds hand.

Its weight drops to 71 grams.

Features and Specifications

Both watches come with a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, 100-meter water resistance, and a tachymeter bezel.

They are powered by Casio's solar charging system, offering about five months of operation on a full charge.

The chronograph measures up to 59 minutes and 59.95 seconds, with subdials for seconds, stopwatch 1/20 seconds, and stopwatch minutes, plus a date window.

Pricing and Availability

The EFS-S660D-1A and EFS-S660PB-1A are listed on Casio's Japanese online store at ¥33,000 ($210) each.
