The Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra has been spotted on Geekbench, confirming the use of MediaTek's Dimensity 9500 chipset and showing a performance boost over last year's model.

The listing, identified by model number SM-X946B, closely matches the Tab S11 Ultra's SM-X936B, indicating this is indeed the upcoming flagship tablet.

Performance and specifications

The Geekbench listing reveals a core cluster with one prime core, three performance cores, and four efficiency cores, ruling out recent Snapdragon flagships.

The prime core runs at a peak clock speed of 4.21 GHz, while efficiency cores reach 2.7 GHz, confirming the Dimensity 9500.

In benchmarks, the device scored 2,424 in single-core and 8,446 in multi-core tests, a slight improvement over the Tab S11 Ultra.

The test unit includes 12GB of RAM, matching the base configuration of last year's model, with a 16GB variant likely available.

Previous rumors suggest the Tab S12 Ultra will retain many specs from its predecessor, including a 14.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, an 11,600mAh battery, and 45W charging.

Camera expectations include a 13MP primary, an 8MP ultra-wide, and a 12MP front-facing shooter.
