Edifier has introduced the Hecate Dual Engine Pro wired gaming earbuds in China, targeting budget-conscious gamers with a hybrid driver setup and specialized audio tuning.
Priced at 187.5 yuan (about $28), the earbuds are now available through JD. com.
Hybrid Triple-Driver Configuration
Each earpiece houses a hybrid triple-driver system, combining dual 6mm dynamic drivers with a dedicated balanced armature driver.
A physical crossover separates low, mid, and high frequencies, aiming to deliver clearer audio detail and more precise in-game cues like footsteps and environmental effects.
The earbuds also feature a dual-damping acoustic chamber, which Edifier says helps manage internal sound and improve positional audio accuracy.
They carry Hi-Res Audio certification, and the sound profile has been tuned specifically for competitive first-person shooters.
Design and Build
For comfort, Edifier includes adaptive ear-wings that flex to fit the user's ear, along with angled housings for longer wearing sessions.
The package comes with three pairs of silicone ear tips.
The 1.3-meter cable uses oxygen-free copper wiring reinforced with 400D ballistic fiber, coated in a TPE outer layer, and terminates in an L-shaped 3.5mm connector.
An inline controller handles volume, playback, and calls, while a built-in microphone filters background noise for voice chat.
