Casio is expanding its GravityMaster lineup in the United States with the new GWR-B3000 series.
After debuting in Japan last month, the aviation-inspired G-Shock watches are now listed on Casio's US website. The collection includes three models, with prices starting at $880.
Design and Durability
The GWR-B3000 watches feature a dual hollow case structure engineered to withstand physical impacts, vibration, and centrifugal force.
The inner case is made from carbon fiber-reinforced resin, keeping the weight at just 102 grams, while the outer shell uses stainless steel protectors and visible resin shock absorbers.
Casio employs bio-based resins for the band and center case as an alternative to traditional plastics.
The dial is matte black with a micro-textured surface to reduce glare, protected by a sapphire crystal.

Advanced Movement and Features
The series runs on Casio's updated TOUGH MVT. 2 analog movement, which includes two hardware safeguards.
A shock detection system recognizes hard impacts that misalign the hands and automatically corrects them.
A magnetic field sensor pauses the hands when exposed to strong magnets, resuming normal operation once the interference is gone.
Power is provided by inset solar panels located inside the smaller sub-dials, drawing ambient light to keep the battery charged without requiring a translucent main dial.

For connectivity, the GWR-B3000 includes Bluetooth to sync with the Casio Watches mobile app.
This enables automatic time adjustments, easy switching between 38 time zones, and a flight log tool that records time and location on a map when a physical button is pressed.
It also retains Multi-Band 6 radio control for daily time calibration without a phone.
Pricing and Models
The base model, GWR-B3000-1A, is priced at $880.
