Brett Favre is reaching out to his former Green Bay Packers teammate Ahman Green after Green disclosed his Parkinson's diagnosis.

Favre told TMZ Sports he would love to share his own experience with the disease to support Green.

The 49-year-old Hall of Famer revealed his Parkinson's diagnosis in late 2024. He recently said he learned about it in January 2025 but waited to go public.

“The amount of head/neurological issues among the former players is staggering!” Favre said.

Favre and Green played together from 2000 to 2006. Green went on to become the Packers' all-time leading rusher.

Favre has vowed to fight his symptoms and raise awareness about Parkinson's. He believes he can be a strong ally for Green.

Another former NFL running back, Chris Johnson, recently opened up about his ALS diagnosis.
