Oppo has officially announced the launch date for its upcoming A7 Pro Max, set to debut on August 4.

The device will be the brand's first smartphone to pack a massive 10,000mAh battery.

The company revealed the phone will come in three color options: black, orange, and gradient white.

Buyers can choose from three variants: 8GB+128GB, 12GB+256GB, and 12GB+512GB.

Battery and Charging

Oppo claims the battery is designed to retain performance for up to seven years, positioning the handset as a "next-generation durability legend."

It supports 80W wired fast charging to reduce charging times despite the large capacity.

To keep the device slim, Oppo uses a silicon-carbon anode single-cell battery design instead of the conventional dual-cell approach.

This reduces internal wiring and power management component space, resulting in a thickness of 8.47mm and a weight of 226g.

Display and Performance

The Oppo A7 Pro Max is expected to feature a 6.78-inch OLED flat display with 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.

It is tipped to run on Qualcomm's Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 chipset and will be available with up to 12GB of RAM.

The phone is also expected to retain a 3.5mm headphone jack and include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

Camera and Software

For photography, the handset is expected to feature a vertically arranged dual rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary camera.

The front camera is also 50 megapixels for selfies.

It will come preloaded with ColorOS 16 based on Android 16. There is no information yet about global availability.
