The Oppo Find X9 Ultra, equipped with dual 200-megapixel Hasselblad-tuned sensors, has completed DxOMark's full testing. It achieved a score of 170 points, securing third place overall.
This result is five points behind the current leader, the Huawei Pura 80 Ultra. The Find X9 Ultra is tied with the Vivo X300 Ultra.

The device features a versatile quad-camera setup.
It includes a 200 MP f/1.5 main camera with a 1/1.12-inch sensor, a 50 MP f/2.0 ultra-wide on a 1/1.95-inch sensor, a 200 MP f/2.2 periscope telephoto (70 mm equivalent, 1/1.28-inch sensor), and a 50 MP f/3.5 periscope offering 10x optical zoom at 230 mm (1/2.75-inch sensor).
Large sensors and Hasselblad's color science contributed to accurate colors in good light, low noise, and a strong portrait mode.
However, DxOMark identified several weak points.

The main camera lacks a variable aperture, causing focus issues in group portraits with busy backgrounds. Oppo's AI processing sometimes over-sharpens details, resulting in unnatural textures.
Noise reduction struggles with background lights, leaving visible grain.
In low light, images often appear too warm, and artificial lighting can throw off white balance.
The 70 mm and 230 mm telephoto lenses capture plenty of detail, but the intermediate 135 mm range lags behind competitors.
Even the Vivo X300 Ultra relies on digital zoom in that range.

Despite these shortcomings, the Find X9 Ultra has earned praise in general reviews for its overall capability.
The DxOMark scores highlight that big sensors and brand partnerships alone are not enough. Software processing, consistency, and computational photography tuning remain decisive factors.
A 170-point score is still excellent in many conditions.
Future software updates could address some of the issues flagged by DxOMark, potentially improving the score on a retest.
