HMD Global has unveiled the Nokia 250 4G Smart, a feature phone designed for the Chinese market that blends classic simplicity with modern digital tools.
According to details shared by tipster smashx_60, the device is compact and built for reliability.
It carries an IP54 dust and splash resistance rating and will be available in two color options.
Key specifications and features
The phone features a 2.8-inch LCD screen, a 0.3MP front camera with LED flash, and a 2MP rear camera also equipped with flash.
Under the hood, it runs on a Unisoc T137 processor clocked at 1.3 GHz, paired with 256 MB of RAM and 2 GB of internal storage.
Power is supplied by a 1,950 mAh battery charged via a 2.75 W USB-C port.
The device operates on a real-time operating system (RTOS) for efficiency and stability. Bluetooth 5.0 is also included.
Despite being a feature phone, HMD has integrated several smart-leaning extras: cloud phone functionality, AI features, native Alipay support for payments, voice translation, and a QR reader.
These additions make the Nokia 250 4G Smart more useful than a basic phone without turning it into a full smartphone with distractions.
HMD has been expanding its feature-phone lineup in China, India, and parts of the Middle East and Africa, often including region-specific services like Alipay.
The Nokia 250 4G Smart fits that strategy: durable, potentially long-lasting battery, and enough digital tools to stay practical.
The AI and payment features target users who want modern conveniences while avoiding distractions.
With IP54 protection, dual cameras with flash, USB-C charging, and practical software extras, it works well as a secondary phone or a primary device for those valuing simplicity and durability.
