Motorola has quietly begun rolling out the Android 17 beta update to Moto Edge 60 Pro users.
It is one of the first Motorola phones to receive this major beta update.

The update was recently released for Motorola Signature, Moto Edge 70, and Moto G57 Power. Now, the Edge 60 Pro joins the list.
The Android 17 beta for the Edge 60 Pro is reportedly rolling out in India with firmware version A171VVH.16.
It should soon expand to other regions.
This major upgrade has a download size of 5GB, larger than any previous OS update for the Edge 60 Pro.

The changelog mentions only the July 2026 security patch and stability improvements.
If you have a Motorola Edge 60 Pro and are enrolled in the Android 17 beta program, the update may arrive anytime.
To check manually, go to Settings > System updates and tap Check for updates.

Motorola typically rolls out updates in batches, so it may take a few days to reach all users.
Availability depends on your region.
Once upgraded to Android 17 beta, users will notice an updated notification panel and control center, new lock screen clock faces, and an updated Settings page.
The update also introduces a new volume mixer and upgraded Live Activities that now work with calls, music, and torch.
