Oppo's upcoming Find X10 Ultra could pack a groundbreaking 200-megapixel camera sensor developed exclusively by Samsung, according to a reliable tipster.

The device is expected to launch in the first half of 2027, following the Find X10 series debut in China around October 2026.

Exclusive 200MP LOFIC sensor

Tipster Digital Chat Station revealed on Weibo that Oppo is testing a next-generation 200-megapixel 1/1.12-inch LOFIC primary camera sensor.

He later confirmed in the comments that this sensor will be exclusive to the Find X10 Ultra.

LOFIC, or Lateral Overflow Integration Capacitor, improves dynamic range by capturing better highlight and shadow details in difficult lighting conditions.

The same tipster previously claimed that such a sensor would debut around 2027 on an Ultra-tier flagship phone.

100MP 1:1 square selfie camera

Oppo is also reportedly testing a customized 100-megapixel 1:1 square front-facing camera sensor for the Find X10 Ultra.

This square sensor could capture a larger image area, making it easier to crop photos and videos for different social media formats without losing much detail.

Traditional front cameras are optimized for vertical shots, often requiring users to rotate the phone horizontally for wider selfie videos or group photos.

A 1:1 square sensor could address this by capturing a wider usable frame from a single shot.

Other expected specifications

Beyond the camera innovations, the Find X10 Ultra may feature a 6.89-inch 2K LTPO OLED display and a 7,000mAh+ battery.

Under the hood, it is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chipset.

These details align with earlier leaks about Oppo's ambitious plans for its next-generation flagship lineup.

The Find X10 series is expected to include the Find X10, X10 Pro, and X10 Pro Max, with Oppo planning to unveil them in China in October this year.
