The Trump Mobile T1 has finally undergone benchmark testing, and the results don't live up to the hype surrounding its delayed launch.

According to CNET, the phone ran standard industry benchmarks and doesn't scream flagship.

On paper, the T1 runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 series chip, likely the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3.

In real-world performance tests, CNET found that the numbers land closer to Android flagships from about five years ago.

In some cases, the benchmark results even resemble older HTC devices so closely that the report suggests the phone may be based on an HTC U24 Pro 5G design with a new exterior.

Everyday Performance

For everyday tasks, the report claims the phone is fine for basic activities like web browsing and video streaming.

However, it struggles to keep up with current mid-range phones in 2026.

The single-core and multi-core performance trails behind newer devices from Google, Samsung, and Apple. Graphics performance is even further behind.

In Geekbench v6, the T1 scored 1,195 single-core and 3,443 multi-core.

For comparison, the Google Pixel 10A (2025) scored 1,664 and 3,984, while the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE (2025) scored 2,118 and 6,819.

In 3DMark Wild Life Extreme, the T1 scored 1,581, similar to the OnePlus 9 Pro (2021) at 1,525.

Design and Features

Design-wise, the T1 comes in a gold-colored body with a US flag-inspired back. Oddly, it features only 11 stripes instead of the standard 13.

The software side is handled by Android 15 with minimal extra apps or heavy customization.

The back includes a triple rear setup led by a 50MP main sensor, 2x optical zoom, and up to 30x digital zoom.
