Motorola is expanding its tablet lineup in India with the Moto Pad 70 Groove, set to launch on July 31.
A Flipkart microsite has already gone live, confirming the date and key features.
The tablet stands out with a circular mesh grille on the back featuring the JBL logo and a built-in fold-out stand that supports multiple modes including portrait, landscape, lean, stand, hanging, and theatre.
It comes in a green color with rear-mounted volume buttons.
Audio and Display Highlights
The Moto Pad 70 Groove is being touted as India's first tablet with a nine-speaker JBL setup, comprising four tweeters, three woofers, and two passive radiators.
It features a 43cc acoustic chamber, dedicated bass units, Dolby Atmos tuning, and Hi-Res Audio support, delivering up to 48W in a 7.2-channel configuration.
The display is a 12.1-inch 2.5K panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10 and Dolby Vision support, and up to 800 nits brightness in High Brightness Mode.
Battery and Charging
Powering the device is a 10,200mAh battery that Motorola claims can deliver up to 15 hours of video playback.
The tablet comes with a 68W charger in the box for fast charging.
The Moto Pad 70 Groove joins the existing Pad 70 series, focusing on large screens and high refresh rates.
The emphasis on JBL-tuned audio positions it as a strong contender for entertainment enthusiasts in the Indian market.
