Fresh leaks have surfaced regarding the iQOO 16T, offering a glimpse into its potential specifications. Tipster Digital Chat Station shared new details about the upcoming smartphone.
The iQOO 16T is reportedly in early testing with Qualcomm's SM8950 chipset, expected to be the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6.
A Dimensity 9600 (DX6) variant is also being evaluated.
According to the leak, the prototype features a 2K flat Samsung display. The device is said to include a built-in large cooling fan for improved thermal management.
The iQOO 16T will succeed the iQOO 15T, which launched in May 2026.
The 15T boasts a 6.82-inch AMOLED LTPO screen with 2K+ resolution and 144Hz refresh rate, along with an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor.
Under the hood, the iQOO 15T packs a Dimensity 9500 Monster chip, up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, up to 1TB UFS 4.1 storage, and an 8,000mAh battery with 100W charging.
It runs OriginOS 6 based on Android 16.
The 15T features a 16MP front camera, a 200MP primary rear camera with OIS, and a 50MP ultra-wide lens.
It has a metal frame and IP68/IP69 dust and water resistance.
No launch timeline for the iQOO 16T has been confirmed. It remains unclear whether iQOO plans a May 2027 debut or an earlier release.
