President Donald Trump has shared the first public photo of Vice President J. D.
Vance's newborn son.
Trump posted the image on his Truth Social account, calling the baby "a perfect baby boy."
The newborn, named Alec Neel, was born over the weekend to J. D.
Vance and his wife Usha.
The photo shows Alec with two of his older siblings sitting on furniture in a hospital room. Neither the Vice President nor Second Lady appears in the picture.
Usha gave birth at Walter Reed Medical Center in Maryland on Sunday. J.
D. Vance announced the birth himself, rather than Trump.
The Vances have been married since 2014. Their other children are Ewan, 9, Vivek, 6, and Mirabel, 4.
