A new leak has surfaced detailing the upcoming iQOO 16 flagship smartphone. The device is expected to launch in October, following a different iQOO phone slated for June.
The iQOO 16 is rumored to be powered by Qualcomm's SM8975 processor, likely the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chip.

Unlike some gaming-focused phones, the engineering prototype reportedly lacks a built-in cooling fan.
One of the standout features is a massive 8,500mAh battery.
The phone may also sport a 2K flat display with a customized panel material and an ultra-high refresh rate.

Previous reports mention a 6.85-inch Samsung display with a 165Hz refresh rate.
For audio, the leak indicates flagship-grade symmetrical speakers.

The camera setup could include a 1/1.3-inch primary sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera.
The iQOO 16 might also be the first device from the brand to ship with OriginOS 7 based on Android 17.
Separately, the iQOO Neo 11S (or Neo 11 Pro) is tipped to launch in June.

It is expected to be an incremental upgrade over the Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered iQOO Neo 11, which debuted in China in October 2025.
