Xiaomi has launched the Smart Solar Camera 4 Pro 4G Dual-Camera Edition in China.
The device is priced at 649 yuan ($96) and targets outdoor areas without Wi-Fi or power outlets, such as construction sites and orchards.

The camera is powered by a 9,900mAh battery and a 7.6W solar panel. Xiaomi claims this setup provides continuous operation without manual charging.
Instead of Wi-Fi, the camera uses a built-in dual 4G SIM system.
It automatically switches between networks to maintain connectivity and includes free data for remote monitoring via the Mi Home app.
The device features a dual-camera system with two 5MP sensors recording in 3K resolution and f/1.6 lenses.

One camera has a fixed wide-angle lens for general monitoring, while the other is a pan-tilt-zoom unit with 355-degree horizontal and 95-degree vertical movement.
AI tracking enables one lens to monitor a broad area while the other follows a moving subject.
For night vision, the cameras combine white and infrared LEDs.
The system defaults to infrared mode but switches to white LEDs to capture color footage when it detects a person in the dark.

Local storage is supported via a microSD card up to 256GB.
The Always-On Video system records a time-lapse at one frame every two seconds when the area is quiet, reducing storage usage by about 90%.
Normal recording resumes upon detecting a person or vehicle.
The camera has an IP66 rating for dust and water resistance.

It includes two-way audio with noise reduction, integrates with Xiaomi's HyperOS Connect smart home platform, and can trigger a built-in siren and flashing lights upon detecting unusual activity, sending a push notification to the user's phone.
