Asus has introduced the Adol HC112, an 11-in-1 USB-C docking station that offers high-speed connectivity, multi-monitor support, and 100W power delivery in a compact form factor.
The dock is priced at 329 yuan (approximately $48), with a promotional launch price of 299 yuan ($44).
Compact Design and Build
The Adol HC112 features a compact aluminum alloy chassis measuring 116 x 48 x 15 mm and weighing just 81 grams.
Despite its 11 ports, the dock remains highly portable.
The metal body aids heat dissipation, and the braided USB-C cable is designed for improved durability.
Display and Connectivity
For display output, the dock includes HDMI and DisplayPort 1.4 connectors, supporting up to three simultaneous displays on compatible systems.
It offers both mirror and extended modes.
Resolutions reach up to 8K at 30Hz via DisplayPort, 4K at 120Hz via HDMI, and 1080p at up to 240Hz for high-refresh-rate gaming.
The dock provides three USB-A 3.2 ports and one USB-C 3.2 port, all with data transfer speeds up to 10Gbps.
A Gigabit Ethernet port ensures reliable wired network connectivity.
It also includes SD and microSD card readers that support simultaneous card access, plus a 3.5mm audio jack for headphones or speakers.
Power Delivery and Compatibility
A dedicated USB-C Power Delivery (PD) input supports up to 100W passthrough charging via PD 3.0 protocol.
This allows users to charge a laptop while fully utilizing the expansion ports.
The Adol HC112 operates as a plug-and-play device, requiring no additional drivers.
It is compatible with Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, and iPadOS, provided the host device has a full-function USB-C port capable of handling data, display, and power.
