Fusion 2 and XR22 Progress
The Fusion 2, a successor to the 2024 HMD Fusion, is said to feature a completely different design and approach.
The original model offered an affordable modular system with interchangeable “Smart Outfits” for added protection or gaming grips.
Specs for the Fusion 2 are rumored to include a 6.58-inch Full HD+ 120Hz OLED display, a Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 processor, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and IP65 dust/water resistance.

New Gen 2 outfits and continued support for 3D-printed accessories are also expected.
The XR22 is confirmed as the successor to the durable XR21, which featured IP68/IP69K and MIL-STD-810H certification.
The new model is expected to bring upgrades in performance and cameras while maintaining ruggedness.
Fake Skyline 2 Variants
The same source labeled rumors of a Skyline 2 GT variant and a Skyline 2 with a circular camera module as fake.

Qi2 wireless charging is also expected.
These updates suggest HMD is balancing innovation with practicality in the budget and mid-range market.
