Casio has partnered with the Mother video game franchise to release a new limited-edition G-Shock watch celebrating the 20th anniversary of Nintendo's Mother 3.

The watch is based on the classic DW-5600 model, often called the Speed Model, and adopts a bright yellow color scheme.

Design and Features

The yellow resin case and band are inspired by the sunflower fields from Chapter 6 of the game, with red accents echoing the Mother series logo.

The resin band features printed pixel-art Mr. Saturn characters, and the LED backlight reveals a retro sunflower field graphic when activated in the dark.

The stainless steel case back is engraved with the word “Potential!”

A removable gold-colored wire protector over the mineral glass display is a first for Casio's Mother collaboration line.

Underneath the gaming theme, the watch retains standard DW-5600 specifications: shock resistance, 200 meters (20 ATM) water resistance, and an estimated five-year battery life.

It weighs 55 grams and comes in a custom sunflower-themed metal storage tin.
