Xiaomi has started rolling out the HyperOS 3.3 update to select high-end smartphones, upgrading the operating system to Android 17.
The update is now available for the Xiaomi 17 series and Xiaomi 15T Pro.

While this is a major OS upgrade, users should not expect significant visual changes or new features.
HyperOS 3.3 primarily lays the groundwork for advanced features that will arrive with HyperOS 4 later this year.
According to the changelog, the update focuses on improving system stability and includes the June 2026 security patch.
The download size is large, ranging from 7.5GB to 9.5GB depending on the device and region.

Rollout Details
The Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra are receiving the update as a public release in Global and European regions.
The Xiaomi 15T Pro is getting the update via the Mi Pilot testing channel, meaning only a limited number of users can upgrade initially.
Xiaomi typically rolls out updates in batches, so it may take a few days for the update to appear on all eligible devices.

Users can check for available updates by going to Settings > About phone and tapping the HyperOS logo.
For Xiaomi 15T Pro users, the update may take longer as it is currently limited to the Mi Pilot channel.
A wider rollout is expected soon.
Looking ahead, Xiaomi is preparing to release HyperOS 4, which is expected to bring major visual upgrades, new features, and system enhancements.
