A new leak reveals specifications for the upcoming Poco M8 Power, which is expected to be a rebadged version of the Redmi Note 17 for the Indian market.
Tipster Kacper Skrzypek uncovered details in HyperOS code, indicating the device with model number 2602IPC8I will be called the Poco M8 Power.

It already appeared in India's BIS certification database in May.
The phone is said to feature a massive 8,000mAh battery, matching the Chinese Redmi Note 17.
However, the global version of the Redmi Note 17 may have a slightly smaller 7,700mAh battery.

Expected Display and Performance
According to recent reports, the Poco M8 Power and global/India Redmi Note 17 will sport a 7-inch Samsung AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and up to 1,800 nits brightness.
The device is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 chipset, paired with a 50-megapixel primary camera.
It may support 45W fast charging and 22.5W reverse wired charging.

Meanwhile, the Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G for global and Indian markets is tipped to feature a 6.83-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution and 3,500 nits peak brightness.
It could pack a Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset, 50-megapixel main camera, 67W fast charging, and 22.5W reverse charging.
The Indian variant of the Note 17 Pro is expected to retain the 9,000mAh battery of the Chinese model, while the global version may get an 8,340mAh battery.

It remains unclear if the Poco M8 Power will launch in global markets beyond India.
