Donald Trump swapped Air Force One jets mid-trip home from the NATO summit, trading his old plane for a new one gifted by Qatar during a layover in England.
Video captured the moment Trump descended the stairs of the older Air Force One at Royal Air Force Mildenhall base on Thursday, then walked across the tarmac and boarded the new aircraft.

The president explained he wanted U. S.
troops stationed at the base to tour the new plane. He also suggested Iran was trying to kill him as he left Turkey.

On Truth Social, Trump said he used the old jet for "old time's sake."
But at the summit, he told reporters, "I'm number one on the kill list for Iran."

The New York Times reported the Secret Service recommended Trump not fly Air Force One back from the summit as a security precaution.
The Qatari-gifted jet was retrofitted by defense company L3Harris Technologies to meet Air Force One security standards, though some experts expressed concern over how quickly the upgrades were made.
