Nothing has expanded its affordable audio lineup with the launch of the Nothing Ear (3a), alongside the Nothing Phone (4b).
The new true wireless earbuds retain the $99 price of their predecessor while introducing several key upgrades.

Key Features and Upgrades
The standout addition is Audio Snapshot, which lets users save short audio clips directly from the earbuds.
Powered by 32MB of onboard flash storage, the feature is activated with a pinch gesture and stores recordings in the Nothing X app for playback, editing, sharing, or transcription.
The earbuds also support call and meeting recording for up to two hours, with an audible notification to inform participants when recording begins.

Audio performance is driven by 12mm dynamic drivers with Hi-Res Audio Wireless, LDAC support, and an 8-band equalizer for customization.
The upgraded 45dB Active Noise Cancellation covers a wider frequency range, offering approximately 17 percent better noise cancellation than the previous generation.
Connectivity includes Bluetooth 6.0 and dual-device support.
The earbuds carry an IP54 dust and splash resistance rating and come with an extra-small ear tip for improved fit.

Battery Life and Charging
Nothing claims up to 10 hours of playback on a single charge, with the charging case extending total playback to 42 hours with ANC disabled.
With ANC enabled, combined battery life reaches up to 25 hours. A quick five-minute charge provides up to one hour of listening time.
The case features a three-stage LED indicator for battery level.

The Nothing Ear (3a) is priced at $99 and available in Black, White, Yellow, and a new Pink color option through Nothing's official channels.
