Motorola has begun teasing a new smartphone for the Indian market, with a dedicated Flipkart microsite now live ahead of its official launch.
While the company has not revealed the device's name, teaser images and previous certifications suggest it could be the Motorola Edge 70 Max, which has appeared online in recent weeks.

Design and key features
The Flipkart teaser shows a flat-frame body and a square rear camera module with four circular cutouts.
Motorola is highlighting AI capabilities, claiming a 46 percent improvement in NPU performance for AI tasks.
Another teaser confirms support for magnetic wireless charging, with the tagline “effortlessly fast” indicating compatibility with magnetic charging accessories.

Previous reports reveal that the device appeared in the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) database with support for Qi 2.2.1 and the MPP25 Magnetic Power Profile, confirming 25W wireless charging and built-in magnets.
Unlike most Android smartphones that require a magnetic case for Qi2 accessories, the Edge 70 Max is expected to feature integrated magnets for direct compatibility with magnetic chargers, wallets, and car mounts.
Expected specifications
Rumors suggest the Motorola Edge 70 Max will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset.

It is tipped to feature a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-710 primary camera with a 1/1.56-inch sensor, along with a flat display and premium design.
The handset is expected to be available in Green, Light Blue, and Black color options.
