Former NFL star Marcellus Wiley was arrested over the July 4 weekend after his wife accused him of poking her in the cheek and threatening to kill her, according to an arrest affidavit obtained by TMZ.
The incident occurred Saturday afternoon inside a hotel room at the World Marriott in Orlando, Florida.

Annemarie Wiley, who appeared on Season 13 of 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,' called police to report a battery.
When officers arrived, Annemarie told them she wanted her husband removed from the room because she feared for her life after he threatened to kill her.

The couple's three children and other kids attending a basketball tournament were also present.
According to the affidavit, Annemarie also reported that the previous morning, Marcellus stood over her while she sat on the bed and "used one finger to sternly and intentionally poke her in the cheek" in front of their 7-year-old daughter.
She told police she planned to divorce Wiley, alleging a history of unreported violence.

Wiley denied any physical altercation, telling police there was no violence and that he never laid a hand on his wife, stating he was only there to care for the children.
He showed officers text messages between them that were cordial.

Despite his denial, police found probable cause based on Annemarie's written statement and arrested Wiley for domestic violence battery.
